Key Responsibilities &

Skills Required For MEG Machining:-

1. Ability to study and understand engineering drawings received from the Design Department.

2. Solid knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) symbols, standards, and requirements.

3. Drive machining process development and prepare Manufacturing Process Plan (MPP), Manufacturing Instructions (MI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) - Commonly knowing as PPAP Documents.

4. Capable of independently operating and handling CNC machines.

5. Strong knowledge of machining cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling selection

6. Proficiency in using measuring instruments, gauges, and inspection equipment

7. CNC Programming Knowledge - Ability to read and understand CNC programs,



Knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming for both Turning and Milling operations.

8. Ability to identify raw materials used for machined components, Understanding of engineering materials and their basic properties.

9. Software – AutoCAD (Must), Basic knowledge in MS – Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Hands-on experience in CNC machining and process planning.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work and coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Design, Production, and Quality.
