Job Title: Manager – Business Development

Location: Chennai

Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field

Experience: 5–7 years in Sales/Business Development, with 3–5 years in Tender or Proposal Management

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Smart City, Mobility, MRT, Railways, Roads, and Infrastructure.
- Build relationships with Government authorities, public transport operators, OEMs, and key stakeholders.
- Develop sales strategies and manage the complete business development cycle.
- Lead end-to-end tender and bid management, including proposal preparation and submission.
- Negotiate and close high-value business opportunities.
- Manage key customer accounts and achieve revenue targets.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business plans.




- Conduct market research and monitor industry and competitor trends.

Requirements

- Experience in B2B sales, Business Development, and Tender/Proposal Management.
- Background in Smart City, Smart Mobility, Railways, Roads, Infrastructure, or related industries preferred.
- Experience working with Government, public sector, or large enterprise customers.
- Good understanding of tendering procedures in India.
- Strong networking, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
