Role & responsibilities
End-to-End Project Handling
1. Client Handling & Requirement Understanding
- Manage client interactions from initial enquiry to project completion.
- Understand client lifestyle, preferences, functional requirements, aesthetic expectations, and budget.
- Conduct design discussions, presentations, and regular client updates.
- Convert client requirements into a transparent design brief.
1. Concept Development & Design Presentation
- Develop luxury residential design concepts based on client requirements.
- Prepare professional PPT presentations covering mood boards, design concepts, layouts, material palettes, furniture, lighting, and overall design direction.
- Incorporate Italian and international furniture brands into concepts to communicate the desired luxury aesthetic.
- Present concepts to clients and incorporate feedback through revisions.
1. Furniture & Brand Selection
- Research and select suitable Italian/international furniture brands based on the design concept.
- Recommend furniture, lighting, accessories, finishes, and materials aligned with the project's style and budget.
- Coordinate with vendors/brand representatives for product information, specifications, availability, and pricing.
1. Material & Finish Selection
- Select and finalize flooring, marble, wood, veneer, laminates, fabrics, wallpapers, paints, hardware, sanitaryware, lighting, and other finishes.
- Prepare material/finish boards and maintain consistency with the approved design concept.
- Coordinate samples and approvals with clients and internal teams.
1. Quotation & BOQ Preparation
- Prepare detailed quotations based on approved designs, furniture selections, materials, and scope of work.
- Prepare and maintain BOQs (Bill of Quantities) with accurate quantities, specifications, and rates.
- Coordinate with procurement, factory, and vendors to obtain updated pricing.
- Ensure commercial proposals are aligned with project requirements and budgets.
1. Design Team Coordination
- Coordinate with the internal designing team from concept development through detailed design.
- Brief designers/draftsmen on approved concepts and ensure design intent is translated accurately into drawings.
- Review drawings, furniture layouts, elevations, details, and design documentation.
- Track revisions and ensure timely completion of design deliverables.
1. Factory & Production Coordination
- Coordinate with the factory/production team for execution of customized furniture and interior elements.
- Share approved drawings, specifications, finishes, and material details.
- Resolve design-related queries during production.
- Monitor production status and ensure execution follows the approved design.
1. Site Coordination & Execution Monitoring
- Coordinate regularly with the site team to monitor project progress.
- Visit sites when required to understand execution status and resolve design-related issues.
- Check whether site execution matches approved drawings, finishes, materials, and design intent.
- Coordinate with site, factory, design, and project teams to resolve discrepancies.
1. Project Status & Follow-Up
- Maintain regular project-status updates from design quotation approval procurement production delivery installation completion.
- Follow up with relevant teams to identify delays, dependencies, and pending approvals.
- Ensure timely communication of project updates to clients and management.
1. Client Approval & Revision Management
- Obtain client approvals for concepts, furniture, materials, finishes, quotations, and final selections.
- Record client feedback and ensure revisions are communicated to the relevant teams.
- Manage expectations regarding timelines, budgets, design changes, and execution possibilities.
1. Quality & Design Control
- Ensure the final execution maintains the intended luxury design quality.
- Verify that materials, furniture, finishes, detailing, and workmanship are consistent with approved specifications.
- Identify design/execution issues early and coordinate corrective action.
1. End-to-End Project Ownership
- Take ownership of projects from scratch to completion.
- Act as the key coordination point between client, design team, procurement, Italian furniture brands/vendors, factory, site team, and management.
- Ensure projects are delivered with the required design quality, client satisfaction, commercial accuracy, and timelines.
