LSR Injection Moulding Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible LSR Injection Moulding Machine Operator to operate and monitor LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber) injection moulding machines for the production of high-quality silicone products. The candidate will be responsible for machine operation, process monitoring, quality inspection, production targets, and maintaining workplace safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Machine Operation

- Operate LSR Injection Moulding Machines safely and efficiently.
- Start, stop, and operate the machine as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Load and handle LSR raw materials as per production requirements.
- Monitor machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, injection speed, curing time, and cycle time.
- Ensure proper mould installation and alignment as instructed by the Production Team.
- Operate machines according to approved process parameters and work instructions.

2. Production Activities

- Achieve daily production targets as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
- Maintain continuous and smooth machine operation during the shift.
- Monitor cycle time and minimize machine downtime.
- Identify production abnormalities and immediately inform the Supervisor or Maintenance Team.
- Ensure proper handling and segregation of finished and rejected products.
- Maintain production records and machine-related documents accurately.

3. Quality Control

- Perform visual inspection of silicone products during production.
- Check products for defects such as flash, short moulding, air bubbles, discoloration, deformation, and dimensional variation.
- Separate defective and rejected products from approved products.
- Follow quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Immediately report recurring quality issues to the Quality and Production Teams.
- Ensure only approved products are transferred to the next process.

4. Mould & Machine Handling





- Handle moulds carefully to prevent damage or scratches.
- Ensure proper cleaning of moulds and machine components as per instructions.
- Assist the Maintenance or Tool Room Team during mould changeover when required.
- Report abnormal machine sounds, leakage, temperature variations, or other machine problems.
- Ensure proper machine shutdown after completion of production or shift.

5. Safety & PPE Compliance

- Follow all company safety rules and production guidelines.
- Wear required PPE such as safety shoes, gloves, head cap, mask, and other protective equipment.
- Follow safe operating procedures while handling machines and moulds.
- Do not operate machinery without proper authorization or training.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, or near-miss incidents to the Supervisor.

6. 5S & Housekeeping

- Maintain cleanliness around the machine and work area.
- Follow 5S practices at the workplace.
- Keep raw materials, tools, moulds, and finished products in designated areas.
- Ensure proper disposal and segregation of production waste.
- Maintain a clean and organized production workplace.

7. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain production output records accurately.
- Record rejection, scrap, downtime, and other production-related information.
- Complete shift handover properly and communicate machine or production issues to the next shift.
- Follow all production documentation and reporting requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Basic knowledge of LSR Injection Moulding Processes.
- Knowledge of operating injection moulding machines.
- Understanding of basic machine parameters and process settings.
- Ability to identify common moulding defects.
- Basic understanding of quality inspection procedures.
- Ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance Departments.
- Willingness to work in shifts

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
