We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Officer to oversee and manage the logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective and cost-effective transportation, inventory management, and timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and supply chain activities.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments for smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage documentation related to imports, exports, dispatches,
and receipts.
- Analyze logistics data to optimize routes and reduce costs.
- Handle logistics software and ERP systems for tracking and reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP).
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
