Job Title: Legal Counsel (Company Lawyer)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to take complete ownership of the company's legal matters. The role will be responsible for providing legal advice to management, handling contracts and agreements, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, managing disputes and legal notices, and protecting the company's legal interests.

Key Responsibilities

- Take complete responsibility for all legal matters of the company.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to the management on business and operational matters.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, agreements, NDAs, MoUs, work orders, vendor agreements, client agreements, and other legal documents.
- Review commercial and business documents to identify legal risks and recommend appropriate actions.
- Handle legal notices, disputes, claims, litigation, and other legal proceedings on behalf of the company.
- Represent and protect the company's legal interests before relevant authorities, courts, tribunals, and other forums, as applicable.
- Coordinate with external advocates, legal consultants, and other professional advisors whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable corporate, commercial, employment, labour, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Advise management on potential legal risks and develop appropriate risk-mitigation strategies.
- Draft and review company policies, procedures, and internal documents from a legal perspective.
- Handle legal matters related to employees,



vendors, customers, clients, projects, and business partners.
- Protect the company's intellectual property, confidential information, trademarks, copyrights, and other legal rights.
- Maintain and oversee all company legal records, agreements, notices, licenses, registrations, and statutory documents.
- Monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations and advise management on their impact on the business.
- Conduct legal due diligence whenever required for contracts, projects, vendors, clients, or business transactions.
- Provide timely legal opinions and recommendations to management.
- Ensure that the company's business activities are legally protected and compliant.

Qualifications & Experience
- LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
- Valid Bar Council enrollment preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate/commercial legal practice.
- Robust experience in contract drafting, legal review, negotiation, litigation, and corporate legal matters.
- Good knowledge of Indian corporate and commercial laws.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to independently manage the company's legal function.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year

Experience:
