Purpose/Objective The Lead – Supplier & Vendor Management will be responsible for developing, managing, and strengthening the supplier ecosystem for nuclear power projects during the project development, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

The role will ensure availability of qualified suppliers, timely delivery of critical equipment and services, contract compliance, vendor performance management, quality assurance coordination, and long-term supply chain resilience.

The position will serve as the primary interface between project teams, engineering, procurement, quality, suppliers, EPC contractors, OEMs, and regulatory stakeholders to support safe, timely, and cost-effective execution of nuclear power projects while establishing a robust nuclear-grade supply chain ecosystem

Key Responsibilities of Role

.

Key Responsibilities: 1.

Supplier Ecosystem Development - Develop and implement AAEL's supplier and vendor management strategy for nuclear projects.

- Identify, evaluate, qualify, and onboard domestic and international suppliers for nuclear and non-nuclear packages.
- Build a long-term vendor ecosystem capable of supporting multiple nuclear units and future fleet expansion.
- Drive supplier localization and indigenous manufacturing initiatives in line with national objectives.
- Maintain a strategic supplier database covering nuclear island, turbine island, and balance-of-plant equipment.

1. Procurement & Commercial Coordination - Coordinate with procurement and engineering teams to ensure timely release of RFQs, PRs, POs, and technical clarifications.
- Track status of purchase orders and contract milestones.




- Support bid evaluations by coordinating documentation and supplier responses.
- Follow up on submission of guarantees, warranties, insurance policies, and contractual documents.
- Assist in managing change orders and commercial correspondences.

1. Vendor Qualification & Prequalification - Establish vendor qualification and registration procedures.
- Lead technical, commercial, financial, quality, and EHS assessments of prospective suppliers.
- Coordinate supplier audits and capability assessments.
- Ensure vendor compliance with nuclear quality standards and project requirements.
- Develop approved vendor lists (AVL) for critical equipment and services.

1. Contract Execution & Commercial Governance - Support contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor vendor compliance with contractual obligations.
- Manage variation requests, commercial claims, extension requests, and contractual disputes.
- Coordinate resolution of commercial issues impacting project delivery.
- Track guarantees, warranties, liquidated damages, and performance securities.

- Monitor vendor compliance with contractual obligations.

1. Stakeholder & Relationship Management - Develop strategic relationships with key OEMs and global technology providers.
- Act as the focal point for supplier escalation management.
- Conduct executive-level supplier reviews and governance meetings.
- Support partnership development with domestic and international manufacturing organizations.
- Facilitate collaboration between engineering, procurement, quality, construction, and vendors.

1. Digital Supply Chain & Analytics - Establish supplier performance dashboards and reporting systems.
- Implement digital supply chain management practices.
- Track procurement and supplier KPIs through integrated project systems.
- Support data-driven supplier performance improvement initiatives.

Technical Competencies Strong commercial and supply chain understanding.

,Ability to coordinate multiple vendors simultaneously.

,Good understanding of engineering and project execution workflows.

,Effective communication and supplier relationship management skills

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications & Experience: - 3+ years of experience.

- Experience in infrastructure project construction, techno-commercial functions.
- Exposure to supplier management, expediting, procurement coordination, contract administration, or project execution activities.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar procurement platforms.
- Robust analytical, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
