Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer, Backend to design and develop high-scale, performance-critical systems.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role for an engineer who enjoys distributed systems, architecture, production engineering, and mentoring other engineers.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead backend architecture and development.
- Design scalable and high-performance distributed systems.
- Write production-quality, maintainable code.
- Drive architectural and technology decisions.
- Own critical systems from design through production support.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers.
- Improve system reliability, performance, and engineering processes.
- Work with Product, Platform, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams.
- Participate in Agile planning and technical discussions.
- Use engineering metrics to improve software quality and productivity.

Required Skills




- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expert-level Scala, Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, or C#.
- Strong distributed systems experience.
- High-performance application development.
- System design and architecture.
- REST APIs and backend engineering.
- Strong production systems experience.
- Solid technical leadership and mentoring skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
