Communications Lead

Full-time

Experience

6–10 years, preferably with experience in a law firm, qualified services organisation, consulting firm or other B2B environment.

Role Overview The Communications Lead will be responsible for developing and driving the firm's overall communications and digital strategy, strengthening the firm's brand and market presence, and ensuring consistent and high-quality communication across digital, social media, website, events and other platforms.

The role will work closely with Partners, Practice Groups, Business Development and internal teams to translate the firm's expertise, achievements and thought leadership into compelling content and effective communication campaigns.

The individual will be expected to own the communications calendar, manage external agencies/vendors where required, track performance and continuously improve the firm's digital and brand presence.

Key Responsibilities1. Communications & Brand Strategy

- Develop and execute the firm's annual communications and digital strategy aligned with business and practice-group priorities.
- Strengthen and consistently communicate the firm's brand positioning, identity and market proposition.
- Develop communication plans for key practice areas, Partners, legal developments, firm initiatives and milestones.
- Ensure consistency of messaging, tone and visual identity across all communication channels.
- Advise Partners and internal stakeholders on appropriate communication and positioning.

1. Digital & Social Media

- Own the firm's digital communication strategy, including website, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Develop and manage the annual/monthly editorial and content calendar.
- Drive the firm's social media strategy, including thought leadership, legal updates, events, awards, people and firm news.
- Monitor digital trends, audience behaviour and emerging platforms relevant to the legal and professional-services sector.
- Track and improve website traffic, engagement, reach and audience growth.
- Lead SEO strategy, keyword research and digital visibility initiatives.

1. Content & Thought Leadership

- Develop and oversee high-quality content including:
- Legal updates
- Articles and blogs
- Client alerts
- Newsletters
- Practice-area content
- Partner profiles
- Interviews
- Case studies
- Event communications




- Work with Partners and lawyers to identify relevant topics and thought-leadership opportunities.
- Translate complex legal and business topics into clear, engaging and audience-appropriate content.
- Build a structured content pipeline across practice areas.

1. Campaign Management

- Plan and execute integrated online and offline communication campaigns.
- Develop campaign objectives, target audiences, messaging, timelines and success measures.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, mailing lists and audience segmentation.
- Measure campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations.
- Ensure campaigns are aligned across website, social media, email, events and other channels.

1. Website Management

- Own the ongoing management and content maintenance of the firm's website.
- Coordinate with internal teams, designers and technology/agency partners for website updates.
- Ensure content is accurate, current, well-presented and aligned with the firm's brand.
- Monitor website analytics, SEO performance, traffic sources and engagement.
- Identify opportunities to improve user experience and digital visibility.

1. Events & Webinars

- Lead communications for webinars, conferences, seminars and firm events.
- Manage event communication from planning through post-event engagement.
- Coordinate invitations, registrations, reminders, speaker communications and post-event content.
- Work with Partners and stakeholders to maximise the visibility and impact of events.

1. Partner & Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with Partners and Practice Heads to understand their communication and business-development priorities.
- Proactively identify opportunities to build Partner and practice-area profiles.
- Coordinate with Business Development, HR and other internal teams to ensure consistent messaging.
- Manage external agencies, designers, content partners and other vendors where required.




- Act as the central point of contact for communications-related requirements.

1. Market Intelligence & Trends

- Track developments in legal-sector communications, digital marketing, social media and technology.
- Monitor competitor law firms and professional-services organisations for relevant communication and branding trends.
- Identify opportunities to improve the firm's market visibility.
- Research emerging topics and developments that can be converted into thought leadership.

1. Analytics & Reporting

- Establish and monitor key communications metrics, including:
- Website traffic
- Social media reach and engagement
- Content performance
- Email open/click rates
- Campaign performance
- Event registrations and engagement
- Audience growth
- Prepare periodic Communications & Digital Performance Reports for Management.
- Use data and insights to continuously improve communication strategies.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations or a related field.
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in communications, digital marketing, brand management or content.
- Experience in a law firm, professional services, consulting, financial services or B2B environment will be an advantage.
- Experience in managing senior stakeholders / Partners will be preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing digital and communications strategies.
- Experience managing external agencies/vendors will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
