Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Systems Administrator to manage the company's end-user computing workplace. This role is responsible for supporting employees, administering endpoint devices, managing Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace users, ensuring endpoint security, monitoring backups, and maintaining a secure and reliable workplace IT environment.

The successful candidate will own the day-to-day operational management of workstations, user accounts, endpoint security, and productivity tools.

Candidates should be comfortable working in the US Shift 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST.

Key Responsibilities

End User Support

- Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support for Windows and macOS users.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, peripherals, and connectivity issues.
- Resolve incidents within agreed service levels.
- Document solutions and maintain the IT knowledge base.
- Escalate complex infrastructure issues to the Head of IT.

Endpoint Management

- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows and macOS devices.
- Manage device enrollment and compliance using Microsoft Intune.
- Configure security policies and device configurations.
- Manage operating system upgrades and feature updates.
- Perform workstation imaging and provisioning.
- Maintain hardware inventory and lifecycle records.

Microsoft 365 Administration

- Manage user accounts, groups, and licenses.
- Configure Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office applications.
- Support password resets and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Assist users with Microsoft Office applications.

Google Workspace Administration

- Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts.
- Manage Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, and Groups.
- Configure security settings and user policies.
- Support Google Workspace applications and user issues.
- Manage shared drives and permissions.

Identity & Access Management

- Provision and deprovision employee accounts.
- Assign appropriate permissions based on business roles.
- Maintain Microsoft Entra ID user accounts and groups.




- Enforce Multi-Factor Authentication policies.
- Review inactive accounts and access permissions.

Endpoint Security

- Monitor endpoint protection and security alerts.
- Ensure Microsoft Defender (or equivalent) is operating correctly.
- Verify BitLocker (Windows) and FileVault (macOS) encryption compliance.
- Ensure endpoint security policies are applied.
- Assist with remediation of endpoint vulnerabilities.

Backup & Recovery

- Monitor Acronis Cyber Protect backup jobs.
- Investigate and resolve backup failures.
- Perform periodic restore tests.
- Ensure endpoint backup compliance.
- Maintain backup documentation and reports.

Patch & Software Management

- Deploy Windows and macOS updates.
- Install and update approved business applications.
- Remove unauthorized or obsolete software.
- Ensure devices remain compliant with company standards.

Asset Management

- Maintain accurate inventory of laptops, desktops, accessories, and software licenses.
- Track device assignments and warranty information.
- Coordinate hardware replacements and repairs.
- Support onboarding and offboarding equipment processes.

Documentation

- Maintain IT documentation, procedures, and standard operating guides.
- Document system configurations and operational processes.
- Update user support documentation as required.

Technical Skills

- Microsoft 365 Administration

- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Windows 10/11 Administration
- macOS Administration
- Microsoft Defender
- Acronis Cyber Protect (or similar backup solution)
- Active Directory fundamentals
- Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN)
- Printer and peripheral support
- Microsoft Office troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in IT systems administration or endpoint management.
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (preferred)
- Google Workspace Administrator certification (preferred)

CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ (advantage)
