We are looking for a agile and result-oriented Import Sales professional to drive business growth in Ocean and Air Import freight forwarding, with a solid focus on the Germany / Japan trade lanes. The candidate will be responsible for acquiring new import clients, managing key accounts, and achieving revenue targets on these origins.

Key Responsibilities:

- Generate new business for Ocean (FCL/LCL) and Air Import shipments from Germany (North Europe) and Japan.

- Identify and develop import opportunities for machinery, auto components, electronics, and industrial equipment typically moving from these origins.

- Build and maintain solid relationships with importers, consignees, and overseas agents/partners in Germany and Japan.

- Coordinate with overseas offices/agents in Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, and Osaka/Kobe to secure competitive buying rates.

- Prepare and negotiate quotations, tariffs, and freight rates for Germany/Japan import shipments.

- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and volume budgets on these trade lanes.

- Handle the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation,



client meetings, negotiation, and closing.

- Coordinate with operations, customs, and documentation teams for smooth shipment execution.

- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and freight rate/space fluctuations on Germany/Japan lanes.

- Maintain CRM/sales reports and pipeline updates for management.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

- Proven experience in Import Sales within the Freight Forwarding / NVOCC / Logistics industry.

- Strong knowledge of Ocean & Air import processes, INCOTERMS, and documentation.

- Prior experience/network with Germany and/or Japan trade lanes (an existing importer client base is preferred).

- Understanding of North Europe port operations and Japan port/CY-CFS operations.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

- Target-driven with strong business development acumen.

- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
