: Senior QA Engineer (Selenium & Playwright)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong automation expertise in Selenium and Playwright to build and execute automated test solutions for up-to-date web applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality releases through robust automation and continuous testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright.
- Create reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Design and execute API automation tests.
- Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and QA estimations.
- Analyse requirements, prepare comprehensive test scenarios, and test cases.
- Report, track, and verify defects through closure.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers to improve testability and product quality.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation coverage expansion.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of QA Automation experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with:

- Selenium WebDriver

- Playwright

- Java/JavaScript/TypeScript





- TestNG/JUnit
- API Testing (REST APIs, Postman, REST Assured)
- Experience with automation framework design and development.
- Knowledge of Git version control.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- SQL and database testing experience.
