Commercial Insurance Booking Executive

Job Summary The Commercial Insurance Booking Executive is responsible for accurately processing and booking commercial insurance policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines, customer requirements, and internal service level agreements. The role involves validating policy details, issuing policies, coordinating with underwriting, brokers, and sales teams, and ensuring timely and error-free policy issuance.

Key Responsibilities

- Book and issue commercial insurance policies in the core insurance system.
- Review quotations, proposals, and underwriting approvals before policy issuance.
- Validate customer information, risk details, premiums, taxes, and policy terms.
- Coordinate with Underwriting, Sales, Brokers, Finance, and Operations to resolve booking queries.
- Process policy endorsements, cancellations, renewals, and amendments.
- Ensure policy documents are issued within agreed turnaround times (SLAs).
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Identify discrepancies and escalate complex cases to the appropriate stakeholders.




- Support audits and quality reviews by maintaining complete documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 12 years of experience in commercial insurance operations or policy booking.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products and policy lifecycle.
- Positive understanding of underwriting and policy issuance processes.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance policy administration systems.
