We are hiring a senior leader to oversee end-to-end lease lifecycle operations and collections across our electric bus and truck leasing portfolio.
This is a governance, controls, and intervention role ensuring automated escrow-based collections run seamlessly, risks are identified early, and structured action is taken in cases of deviation or default.
Key Responsibilities
Lease Lifecycle Governance
- Own operational oversight of all active leases post-execution
- Ensure accurate setup of rental schedules, escrow structures, covenants, and triggers in the Lease Management System (LMS)
- Align signed agreements with LMS configuration and escrow setup
Collections & Escrow Monitoring
- Oversee automated escrow-based collections and daily reconciliations
- Track DPD trends, cash collected vs billed, and escrow waterfall performance
- Identify early warning signals (missed/partial payments, escrow stress)
Exception,
Default & Recovery Management
- Define and manage triggers for breaches and payment delays
- Lead structured interventions, restructurings, and corrective action plans
- Coordinate with Legal on recoveries and enforcement, including repossession
Escrow & Bank Coordination
- Manage operational relationships with escrow banks/trustees
- Ensure timely fund flows, proper waterfall functioning, and periodic audits
Portfolio Risk Reporting
- Provide leadership visibility on collection efficiency, DPD, restructurings, and loss forecasting
- Drive process automation and system improvements
Ideal Candidate
- 12–18+ years in lease operations, credit operations, or collections (NBFC/leasing preferred)
- Strong experience with LMS platforms, escrow mechanisms, and structured finance
- Data-driven with robust cross-functional coordination skills
- Commercially aware with sound judgment in stress/default situations
