Role & responsibilities

Operations & Production Management

- Oversee daily factory operations including production scheduling, planning, and execution.
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining product quality, cost control, and timely delivery.
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Optimize factory workflows and processes to maximize productivity.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management

- Manage, train, and develop production supervisors and line staff.
- Foster a positive and safety-first culture across the factory.
- Monitor labour needs and manage staffing levels based on production demands.

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, FSSC, GMP).
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with R&D; and Quality teams on current product introductions and process improvements.

Maintenance & Equipment





- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
- Approve capital expenditures and plan for machinery upgrades or replacements.

Reporting & Budget Management

- Prepare and present production reports, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Manage budgets for production operations and control operational costs.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in production/operations management in the food industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety and regulatory standards.
- Experience with ERP systems, production planning tools, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
