We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Gynaecology Department. The candidate will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to women at different stages of life while working closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Gynaecology department.
- Monitor vital signs, patient condition, and recovery progress.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
- Assist with patient preparation for gynaecological procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Educate patients regarding medications, procedures, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Maintain proper infection-control and patient-safety practices.
- Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, patients, and attendants.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in clinical condition.
- Follow hospital protocols and standard nursing practices.
Eligibility & Skills
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM / Registered Nurse qualification is mandatory.
- 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience in Gynaecology / Womens Health / Hospital Nursing will be preferred.
- Valid nursing registration with the relevant nursing council.
- Good clinical knowledge and patient-care skills.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assist doctors during procedures and emergencies.
- Patient-focused, compassionate, and professional approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
Preferred Candidate Candidates with experience in Gynaecology nursing, women’s healthcare, patient monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care, and hospital-based nursing will be preferred.
