Ground Reporter – Patna

Nutan Bihar Aaj Aur Kal is expanding its journalism team and is looking for passionate and responsible Ground Reporters based in Patna. If you have a strong interest in news, local issues, field reporting, and bringing people's voices to the public through fair and fact-based journalism, this is an opportunity for you.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Conduct ground reporting on key local events and issues across Patna.
- Capture photos and videos from the field for news coverage.
- Interview members of the public, government officials, authorities, and relevant stakeholders.
- Cover press conferences, social, political, cultural, and public-interest events.
- Research news stories, gather information from reliable sources, and verify facts.
- Prepare clear, accurate, timely, and unbiased news reports.
- Coordinate with the editorial team to develop and publish news stories.

Who We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or any relevant field. Experienced candidates will also be considered.
- Strong interest in news reporting and storytelling.
- Good command of Hindi, both written and spoken.




- Ability to shoot basic photos and videos using a smartphone.
- Good knowledge of local events, issues, and developments in Patna.
- Candidates with experience in ground reporting or on-camera reporting will be preferred.
- Good communication, interviewing, research, and fact-checking skills.
- Ability to work within deadlines and maintain journalistic accuracy.
