Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Graphic Design Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching students the fundamentals as well as advanced concepts of graphic design, while nurturing creativity and hands-on skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging graphic design classes for students of varying skill levels
- Teach design principles such as typography, color theory, layout, and branding
- Provide hands-on training in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva
- Guide students through real-world projects and portfolio development
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Stay updated with current design trends and tools
Requirements:
- Proven experience in graphic design (professional or teaching experience preferred)
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for beginners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative work
- Certification or degree in Graphic Design or related field
