ADSS Executive Information Assistant Programme

Role Purpose

Build and configure AI agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio for ADSS's Executive Information Assistant, integrating Power BI, Teams, and Databricks Genie into a governed, enterprise-ready agent ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and configure agents and topics in Microsoft Copilot Studio, including orchestrator and sub-agent patterns.
- Integrate Copilot Studio agents with Databricks Genie (MCP), Power BI dashboards, and Microsoft Teams.
- Implement generative AI capabilities: prompt design, grounding, knowledge sources, and conversation flows.
- Build custom connectors, plugins, and Power Automate flows to extend agent capabilities beyond native platform features.
- Where Copilot Studio has platform gaps (e.g., live in-meeting participation), develop or support Bot Framework–based custom extensions.
- Implement authentication, data security, and observability/logging aligned to Abu Dhabi government compliance requirements.
- Support discovery sessions and translate business requirements into agent design and technical specifications.
- Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing of agent capabilities; troubleshoot and resolve defects.




- Produce technical documentation and support onsite architecture and implementation planning sprints.

Required Skills & Experience

- Hands-on experience building agents/bots in Microsoft Copilot Studio (topics, plugins, generative answers, connectors).
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem: Teams, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), Power BI.
- Experience with Bot Framework SDK / Azure Bot Service for custom conversational extensions.
- Understanding of LLM/Gen AI concepts: prompt engineering, RAG, grounding, and agent orchestration patterns.
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations or similar API/tool-calling integration patterns.
- Exposure to Databricks (Genie/SQL) or similar data platforms for agent data grounding, a solid plus.
- Solid grasp of enterprise identity, security, and governance (Azure AD/Entra ID, role-based access, data residency).
- 3+ years in software/AI development, with at least 1+ year on Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or comparable Gen AI tooling.

Nice to Have

- Prior public sector or government compliance project experience.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI Service and Azure AI Foundry.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture documentation and stakeholder-facing delivery
