Founded in 2010, Youth Organization in Defence of Animals (YODA) is a registered charity based in Mumbai, dedicated to fostering human-animal coexistence and eliminating animal cruelty. YODA provides essential medical assistance to abandoned and injured animals, rehabilitates mentally distressed animals, and cares for homeless or elderly animals until they are ready for adoption or release. The organization actively works toward reducing stray populations through vaccination and sterilization programs, and combats zoonotic diseases like rabies. They also prioritize education and awareness on animal welfare.

Role Description

This is a full time, on-site role for a Receptionist & Guest Manager at YODA's Animal Welfare Centre, located in Varanasi. The selected individual will manage front desk operations, greet visitors, answer and manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information about YODA's services.



Additional responsibilities include clerical tasks such as record-keeping, coordinating with different departments, and handling customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy. The role also requires managing guest experiences and maintaining a friendly, welcoming workplace at the centre.

Qualifications
Proficiency in Phone Etiquette and Receptionist Duties (Hindi & English)
Robust Clerical Skills, including record management and data entry
Ability to manage people and community.
Calm nature
Exceptional Communication and Customer Service skills
Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and handle multiple tasks
Empathy towards animals and familiarity with animal welfare activities is a plus
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in email and office applications
