Client we are Hiring for:
It is a fast-scaling D2C functional nutrition and supplements brand, moving from roughly ₹60 Cr toward ₹200 Cr in revenue. We build clinically-grounded products for real life stages — with Healthy 50+ (H50+) as their anchor pillar — and take them to market across our own D2C store, marketplaces, and quick commerce.
They are small enough that a single person can own a bet outright, and ambitious enough that a proven bet reshapes the company.
About the Role:
This is a builder’s seat. You will run new product bets end-to-end the way a founder would — starting from a sharp consumer insight and a blank page, working hand-in-glove with R&D; and Product Science to shape a launch- ready product, taking it to market, and staying on it until you’ve found product-market fit and written the growth playbook that proves it can scale. Once a bet is repeatable, you hand it to the growth team and go find the next one.
You will not be handed a roadmap. You will be trusted to traverse the uncertainty of early-stage innovation with strong judgement, relentless consumer curiosity, and the analytical sharpness to spot the winning theme inside noisy data. The role is deliberately ring-fenced with its own scorecard so that the patient, exploratory rhythm of innovation is never crowded out by the daily demands of performance marketing.
What You will Own - The Innovation Lifecycle:
You own the full arc of a new bet across five stages:
Stage 1: Scope & Ideate
› Mine consumer signals, category shifts and internal data to identify winning themes worth betting on.
› Frame the opportunity: the consumer, the need, the wedge, and why companies wins.
› Pressure-test concepts fast and cheaply before committing R&D; and capital.
Stage 2:
Develop & Build
› Partner deeply with R&D; (cohort-led teams under Shrunga and Shikha) and Product Science to turn a concept into a launch-ready product.
› Own the innovation gate calendar — keeping bets moving through scoping, formulation, validation and readiness on a predictable rhythm.
› Bring supply chain and quality in early so launch is real, not theoretical.
Stage 3: Launch
› Craft the positioning, proposition and go-to-market for each current product.
› Direct the full-stack marketing pod — creative, content, performance and influencer — to bring the launch to life across D2C, marketplace and quick commerce.
› Set the launch hypotheses and the metrics that tell you whether they’re holding.
Stage 4: Scale to Product-Market Fit
› Obsess over the consumer feedback loop at every stage — talk to buyers, read the reviews, watch the funnel, iterate.
› Find PMF: the point where retention, unit economics and channel pull show the product can stand on its own.
› Write the growth playbook — the funnel, the creative angles, the channel mix, the economics — that makes the bet repeatable.
Stage 5: Hand Off & Repeat
› Codify what you’ve learned and transition the proven product to the growth team cleanly.
› Protect continuity while freeing yourself to start the next bet.
What you will Command:
Your team
– 2–3 Innovation Managers who take individual bets and work streams from concept to scale under your direction The full-stack marketing org, on demand
You draw on companies marketing bench to power any stage of a bet:
– Creative strategists to shape the proposition and narrative
– Graphic designers & video editors to produce launch and always-on assets
– Performance marketing team to acquire, test and read the funnel
– Influencer team to build credibility and reach
– Insights manager to turn data and consumer feedback into direction
Cross-functional partnersR&D; & Nutrition, Product Science, Supply Chain & Manufacturing, and Customer Engagement — your closest collaborators in turning an idea into a product people love.
Who you are:
– A founder-minded builder. You’ve led products, categories or brands and thrive when the map runs out. You can hold ambiguity, make the call with incomplete information, and keep a team moving through it
– Deeply consumer-curious. You genuinely want to understand people — what they struggle with, what they say, what they don’t say. You seek out consumer feedback at every stage rather than waiting for it
– Sharply analytical. You read data fluently, separate signal from noise, and find the winning theme others miss. You’re equally comfortable with a P&L;, a funnel and a cohort curve
– A natural leader across functions. You bring people with you — across R&D;, science, marketing and ops — without needing them all to report to you
– Biased to action. You own the outcome, not the activity. You’d rather ship, learn and iterate than perfect a plan
Experience & Qualifications:
– 6–8+ years leading in FMCG, D2C or online-first brands, ideally with meaningful ownership of a product, category or new-launch mandate
– Experience with health & wellness brands is a strong added advantage
– MBA (minimum)
– A demonstrable track record of taking something new from idea to market — and ideally to scale
How will you measure:
This role runs on its own innovation scorecard — deliberately kept separate from performance-marketing KPIs —
built around the health of the bets you launch: speed and quality through the innovation gates, evidence of product-market fit, and the strength of the growth playbook you hand over. You are measured as the owner of new bets, not as a contributor to someone else’s roadmap.
