Role Overview

We are looking for a Gen AI Test Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on functional and data-driven applications. The role will be responsible for validating application functionality, data accuracy, business workflows, and AI/GenAI features to ensure reliable and consistent outcomes.

The role involves working closely with development, BI/data, and business teams to design and execute test scenarios, identify defects, validate end-to-end workflows, and support quality throughout the application lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Perform functional, regression, performance, and data testing across applications and workflows.
- Validate AI/GenAI features and end-to-end business workflows against defined requirements and expected outcomes.
- Prepare, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and validation scenarios.
- Verify data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across data-driven applications.
- Perform data validation using SQL where required.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution and closure.




- Execute regression testing to ensure application changes do not impact existing functionality.
- Collaborate with development, BI/data, and business teams to investigate issues and clarify requirements.
- Support validation of application behaviour and data outputs across different testing scenarios.
- Maintain clear testing documentation and communicate testing results, defects, and observations to relevant stakeholders.

Qualification & Expertise:

Essential Requirements

- Relevant educational qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant software testing experience.
- Hands-on experience in functional testing and data testing.
- Strong understanding of data-driven applications and data validation.
- Experience with regression and performance testing.
- Ability to prepare and execute test cases and validation scenarios.
- Strong defect identification, documentation, and tracking skills.

Preferred Requirements:

- Exposure to AI/GenAI application testing and validation.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis.
- Experience validating end-to-end business workflows.
