Position Overview

We are looking for a Freelance Drone Mapping Editor with strong expertise in drone footage processing, aerial mapping visuals, property mapping, site layouts, and motion-graphics-based mapping presentations.

The ideal candidate should be capable of converting raw drone footage and mapping data into visually engaging and informative real estate drone mapping videos, including project boundaries, plot layouts, surrounding locations, road connectivity, landmarks, amenities, and development areas.

This is a specialized drone mapping editing role and is not intended for general video editing.

Key Responsibilities1. Drone Mapping Editing – TOP PRIORITY

- Edit professional drone footage for real estate projects and land developments.
- Convert aerial footage into clear and visually engaging property mapping presentations.
- Highlight project boundaries, plot layouts, roads, access points, surrounding developments, and key landmarks.
- Create aerial location visuals showing the relationship between the project and nearby locations.
- Integrate drone footage with mapping overlays, satellite imagery, site plans, and location data.
- Create before/after and development-progress mapping visuals where required.
- Create cinematic aerial sequences specifically for real estate project presentations and marketing campaigns.

1. Property & Location Mapping

- Create animated maps showing project locations and surrounding areas.
- Highlight important locations such as highways, airports, railway stations, schools, hospitals, commercial hubs, tourist destinations, and other landmarks.




- Create route animations and connectivity visuals.
- Animate project boundaries and land parcels over aerial/satellite footage.
- Develop location-based visual storytelling that makes the project's geographical advantages easy to understand.
- Work with Google Maps, satellite imagery, GIS/mapping data, or similar mapping sources where applicable.

1. Motion Graphics for Mapping – COMPULSORY

- Create professional animated boundaries, pins, routes, arrows, labels, location markers, callouts, and map transitions.
- Animate plot layouts, project master plans, roads, access points, and surrounding infrastructure.
- Create 2D/3D-style mapping effects where required.
- Integrate text, icons, graphics, satellite imagery, and drone footage seamlessly.
- Develop clean and qualified map animations suitable for real estate marketing.

1. Drone Footage Processing

- Organize and process large volumes of aerial footage.
- Select suitable drone shots for mapping and location visualization.
- Stabilize, crop, track, and enhance aerial footage where required.
- Synchronize drone footage with mapping animations and graphic overlays.
- Maintain accurate visual alignment between drone footage and mapping elements.

1. AI & Advanced Creative Tools – COMPULSORY

- Use AI-powered tools to improve drone mapping workflows and production efficiency.
- Use AI for image enhancement, video enhancement, background generation, image-to-video, visual effects, tracking, and other relevant creative applications.
- Explore new AI tools that can improve aerial mapping visualization and real estate presentation.
- Use AI-assisted workflows wherever they improve quality, speed, or accuracy.

1. Accuracy & Visual Presentation

- Ensure mapping elements are visually aligned and geographically accurate based on the supplied project/location data.
- Maintain consistency in project boundaries, routes, labels, landmarks, and location information.




- Follow client branding and project-specific visual guidelines.
- Deliver clean, professional, high-resolution mapping outputs suitable for digital marketing and presentations.

Mandatory Requirements
- Professional experience in drone mapping editing / aerial mapping visualization.
- Strong understanding of drone footage and aerial imagery.
- Solid knowledge of motion graphics and map animation.
- Experience creating property/project boundary animations.
- Experience creating location maps, route animations, and connectivity visuals.
- Proficiency in software such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent tools.
- Working knowledge of mapping/satellite visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of tracking, masking, keyframing, compositing, and motion graphics.
- Knowledge of AI-powered creative and video tools.
- Strong attention to geographical and visual accuracy.
- Ability to work independently on freelance/project-based assignments.
- Ability to meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with real estate drone mapping.
- Experience working with land development, plotted projects, townships, farm plots, or construction projects.
- Knowledge of Google Earth, Google Maps, GIS, satellite imagery, or similar mapping platforms.
- Experience with 3D mapping or terrain visualization.
- Experience creating animated project boundaries and plot layouts.
- Experience integrating drone footage with satellite maps and master plans.
- Knowledge of Blender, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, or other 3D visualization tools will be an advantage.
- Experience using AI-based mapping, video enhancement, and visual-generation tools.
