Role : Network Engineer / Sr Network Engineer – Installation

Reporting to : Team Leader – Deployment

Function Name : Deployment

Purpose of the Role:

The Deployment Engineer is responsible for ensuring timely and efficient installation and activation of new customer connections, as well as maintaining the network infrastructure in the designated area. This role involves working closely with customers, field technicians, and other teams to deliver seamless and high-quality service experience.

Roles and responsibilities





- Perform site surveys to assess installation requirements.
- Install and configure network equipment (e.g., modems, routers, ONTs) at customer premises.
- Ensure timely activation of recent services and troubleshoot any connectivity issues.
- Educate customers on the use of services and equipment.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on network elements to ensure optimal performance.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of network infrastructure and configurations.
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with the installation and service activation process.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all field activities.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to the Team Leader.
- Follow established processes and procedures for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Identify areas for improvement in the deployment/installation process.
- Provide feedback to management on potential solutions to enhance service levels and operational efficiency.

Must have:

- Degree, Diploma/ITI,10th & PUC holder in any discipline
- 1 – 5 years of work experience
- Hands-on experience in installation and troubleshooting of network equipment.
- Experience in customer service and interaction
