Job Summary
The Facility Management Sales Executive is responsible for driving the growth and commercial development of Almuftah Group’s Facility Management business in Qatar by identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities into profitable FM contracts. The role manages the business development and sales cycle from market prospecting, lead generation and client engagement through site assessment, solution development, tender preparation, commercial negotiation, contract award and handover to operations. The position is expected to build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and establish productive, long-term relationships with property owners, developers, consultants, facility managers, procurement teams, contractors and other key decision-makers.
Duties and Essential Job Functions
1.
Business
Development &
- Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for Facility Management services across Qatar.
- Generate leads through direct client visits, networking, market research, referrals, consultants, developers and contractors.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential FM contracts.
- Identify upcoming FM tenders, maintenance contracts, outsourcing opportunities and major facility projects.
- Establish relationships with property owners, developers, consultants, facility managers, procurement teams and key decision-makers.
- Arrange client meetings, presentations, technical discussions and site visits.
- Promote the company’s Integrated Facility Management capabilities and service portfolio.
- Prepare and execute business development plans to achieve annual sales targets.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospective clients from initial enquiry through contract award.
2. FM Contract Development
- Understand client requirements and develop appropriate FM service solutions.
- Review scope of work, specifications, asset lists, drawings, existing maintenance arrangements and service requirements.
- Conduct site surveys and coordinate technical assessments where required.
- Develop service concepts covering all Hard services
- Develop suitable manpower, equipment and service delivery strategies in coordination with the operations team.
3. Tendering &
- Commercial Activities
- Review RFQs, RFPs, ITTs, tender documents and client specifications.
- Coordinate preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Prepare or coordinate BOQ, SOW, manpower schedules, equipment requirements and service methodologies.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors where required.
- Prepare cost estimates and pricing in coordination with the estimation/operations team.
- Ensure that proposed pricing considers manpower, mobilization, equipment, consumables, subcontractors, overheads and required profit margins.
- Prepare tender clarifications and commercial qualifications.
- Participate in tender clarification meetings and negotiations.
- Follow up on submitted quotations and tenders until final decision.
- Maintain records of all submitted proposals and tender status.
4.
Client Relationship
Management
- Develop long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client operational challenges and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Conduct regular client visits and business reviews.
- Coordinate with FM operations teams to address commercial or service-related client concerns.
- Identify opportunities for contract renewal, extension, upselling and cross-selling.
- Maintain professional communication with clients throughout the sales and contract lifecycle.
5.
Market
Development
- Monitor the Qatar FM market, competitors, pricing trends and upcoming projects.
- Identify sectors with potential FM opportunities
- Develop a database of target clients and upcoming projects.
- Provide regular market intelligence and competitor information to management.
6. Coordination with Operations
- Coordinate with FM Operations, Engineering, Estimation, Procurement, Finance and HSE departments during the proposal stage.
- Ensure that proposed services are technically and operationally feasible.
- Obtain operational input regarding manpower, equipment, PPM requirements and mobilization.
- Support the operations team during contract handover after award.
- Ensure that all commercial commitments made during tendering are clearly communicated to the execution team.
7. Attend training and seminars to upgrade knowledge.
Job Specifications
- Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Facility Management, Sales or a related discipline.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Facility Management sales, preferably within Qatar.
- Experience in FM contracts, MEP maintenance, HVAC services or technical services will be highly advantageous.
- Candidates with a technical FM/MEP background combined with sales experience are preferred.

- Competencies:
- Facility Management Technical knowledge: Sound understanding of FM operations, particularly Hard Services, MEP/HVAC maintenance and related technical services, with the ability to understand asset lists, scopes of work, specifications, drawings, PPM requirements and client maintenance needs

- Sales Acumen:
Ability to identify, qualify and develop current Facility Management opportunities, maintain a healthy sales pipeline, convert prospects into contracts, and consistently work toward agreed revenue and profitability targets.
- Tendering &
- Proposal Management:
Ability to review RFQs, RFPs and ITTs and coordinate complete, accurate and competitive technical and commercial submissions, including SOWs, BOQs, manpower requirements, equipment, service methodologies and tender clarifications.
- Commercial &
- Financial Acumen:
Ability to understand cost structures, pricing, margins and commercial implications of FM contracts, considering manpower, mobilization, equipment, consumables, subcontractors and overheads when developing commercially viable proposals
- Client Relationship Management: Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with property owners, developers, consultants, facility managers, procurement teams and other decision-makers, while identifying opportunities for renewals, extensions, upselling and cross-selling.
- Negotiation &
- Closing Skills:
Ability to handle tender clarifications, commercial discussions and negotiations effectively, address client objections, protect the company’s commercial interests and progress qualified opportunities toward contract award.

- Presentation Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to conduct client meetings, deliver presentations, explain technical and commercial solutions clearly, and prepare professional correspondence and proposals.

Ability to understand clients’ operational challenges and translate their requirements into practical, technically feasible and commercially appropriate FM service solutions rather than focusing solely on selling standard services.
