Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and strongly commanding Executive Housekeeper to lead the entire Housekeeping function. The ideal candidate must have complete operational knowledge of Housekeeping, strong leadership and disciplinary skills, and the ability to independently control and manage the department.

Key Responsibilities

- Take complete ownership of the Housekeeping Department and all related operations.
- Lead, supervise and control the Housekeeping team with strong command, discipline and accountability.
- Ensure high standards of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, landscaping coordination and overall resort cleanliness.
- Have thorough knowledge of room cleaning procedures, deep cleaning, public area cleaning, laundry, linen, uniforms, upholstery, pest control and hygiene standards.
- Prepare and monitor SOPs, checklists, cleaning schedules and inspection standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and all public areas and ensure immediate corrective action.
- Manage linen, uniforms, housekeeping supplies, amenities, chemicals and equipment with proper inventory control.
- Control housekeeping costs, manpower productivity and departmental budgets.
- Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, F&B;, Security and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle guest complaints related to cleanliness, room conditions and housekeeping services with prompt resolution.
- Ensure proper staff grooming, training, briefing, discipline and performance management.
- Plan manpower deployment, duty rosters,



leave schedules and daily operational requirements.
- Maintain strong control over outsourced services and vendors related to housekeeping.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and fire-safety standards.
- Monitor preventive maintenance issues in rooms and public areas and coordinate timely closure with Engineering.
- Drive continuous improvement in cleanliness, service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular training and skill development programs for the housekeeping team.
- Maintain proper departmental records, reports, audits and documentation.
- Take complete responsibility for housekeeping readiness during VIP movements, events, conferences and peak occupancy periods.

- Excellent knowledge of end-to-end Housekeeping operations.
- Strong understanding of hotel/resort standards and housekeeping SOPs.
- Excellent manpower planning and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of chemicals, equipment, linen, laundry and inventory management.
- Strong inspection and quality-control skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and take quick operational decisions.
- Strong discipline, ownership and accountability.
- Good knowledge of Housekeeping cost control, budgeting and productivity management.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to personally supervise and control operations when required.

Ideal Candidate The candidate should be a strong and authoritative Housekeeping skilled who can command the team, maintain discipline, identify operational gaps immediately and have complete control and knowledge of every aspect of Housekeeping operations. Experience in a large hotel, resort or luxury property will be preferred.
