Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ETL Test Engineer with experience in Data Warehouse, ETL processes, and database testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, completeness, and consistency across source and target systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements, source-to-target mappings, and ETL specifications.
- Design and develop ETL test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Perform Source-to-Target Data Validation (S2T).
- Verify data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Execute database testing using SQL queries.
- Validate data warehouse, data mart, and reporting systems.
- Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems.
- Identify, track, and report defects using JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with ETL Developers, Business Analysts, and Data Engineers.
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Ensure compliance with data quality standards and business rules.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing.
- Strong SQL skills for writing complex queries.
- Experience with ETL tools such as:

- Informatica

- Talend

- SSIS

- DataStage

- Ab Initio
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts:

- Fact Tables

- Dimension Tables

- Star Schema

- Snowflake Schema
- Experience validating large volumes of data.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL,



or Teradata.
- Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.

- Experience in Cloud Data Platforms:

- AWS Redshift

- Azure Synapse

- Snowflake

- Google BigQuery
- Exposure to Big Data technologies:

- Hadoop

- Hive

- Spark
- Knowledge of API Testing.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting.
- Data Quality Testing experience.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing.
