Role & responsibilities

- Conduct research to evaluate and recommend investment ideas aligned with the firm's objectives.
- Build and maintain earnings models and informational databases.
- Analyze performance reports and provide insights.
- Offer analytical support and market research across various sectors and companies.
- Prepare forecasting models, including projections for quarterly and annual earnings.
- Maintain and enhance financial models and databases for accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay informed about market data, emerging trends, industry developments, and economic information to deepen sector and company knowledge.
- Assist the team in identifying opportunities and risks to enhance overall performance.
- Deliver consistent and timely reports to management.
- Identify and assess public equity investment opportunities within the global technology sector.
- Perform thorough fundamental analysis of companies, evaluating their business operations, financial health, cash flow, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Gather and synthesize data from various sources to create detailed financial models.
- Communicate research findings effectively through explicit written and verbal communication.




- Recommend new investment opportunities for potential inclusion in the portfolio.
- Maintains and enhances financial models and databases
- Stays current on market data, economic information, and key industry developments as well as internal policies and regulatory standards (as communicated by Compliance) to assist in maximizing profitability through sound and well-informed decisions
- Develops and maintains contact with market participants
- Works closely with senior research leads on the ongoing publication of research reports and may assist with ad hoc projects as assigned
- May have interaction with clients; develops and presents client presentations

Ideal Qualifications, Skills, and Experience for Success:

- 3-8 years of buy-side research experience, with a focus on the technology sector.
- Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree and/or CFA designation preferred, with a strong academic record.
- Demonstrated passion for investing and the markets.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate clear and concise investment recommendations.
- A structured and well-defined investment process.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities, with flexibility, adaptability, creativity, and the ability to quickly process new information.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining detailed financial models.
- Deep understanding of securities and the investment process.
