Key Responsibilities

- Develop electrical design drawings, schematics, layouts, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams using EPLAN Electric.
- Design power and control wiring based on project requirements and applicable standards.
- Design and select electrical control panels, components, and associated hardware.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials and electrical component lists.
- Perform basic electrical calculations, including:
- Load calculations
- Cable sizing
- Voltage drops, Heat calculations
- Equipment and component sizing

- Review project specifications, electrical requirements, drawings, and engineering documents.
- Coordinate electrical designs with customers, project engineers.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable IEC, NEC, BS, and customer-specific standards.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and constructability.
- Incorporate design changes and maintain proper drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and project deliverables.
- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and project execution when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/bachelor s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.




- 3-5 years of relevant experience in industrial electrical design.
- Strong hands-on experience with EPLAN Electric.
- Knowledge of international standards such as IEC, NEC, and BS.
- Good understanding of:
- Electrical power distribution
- Control circuits
- Earthing and grounding
- Cable selection and routing
- Control panels and electrical components
- Industrial automation systems

- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and engineering practices.
- Positive communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within defined timelines.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial automation projects.
- Basic knowledge of PLC/control systems and exposure to Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Mitsubishi PLCs.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
