We are looking for a skilled and motivated Diesel Generator Erection Engineer to join our Service & Projects team. The candidate will be responsible for DG set installation, erection, testing, commissioning, and site coordination activities at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out DG set erection, installation, testing, and commissioning at customer sites.
- Handle DG foundation work, positioning, alignment, and installation activities.
- Supervise electrical and mechanical installation works.
- Perform DG piping, cabling, exhaust system, fuel-line, and related installation activities.
- Troubleshoot installation-related mechanical and electrical issues.
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, consultants, and site teams for smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and installation procedures.
- Prepare service reports, commissioning reports, and maintain site documentation.
Preferred candidate profile
- Hands-on experience in Diesel Generator erection and commissioning.
- Good knowledge of DG electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
