We are looking for a senior professional to lead procurement/purchase governance, process compliance, internal controls, audit management and process digitisation within a large automotive enterprise.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in procurement or purchase processes, controls and governance, along with strong exposure to SAP/ERP, audit, compliance and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor compliance with purchase-related processes and identify/report exceptions.
- Design, document and implement effective procurement/purchase policies, guidelines and control processes.
- Strengthen governance and control mechanisms across the purchasing function.
- Drive digitisation and automation of procurement control processes.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations/actions.
- Implement appropriate process checks arising from audit findings.
- Work closely with Procurement, Finance, IT and business teams to improve process effectiveness and controls.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and digitalisation.




- Prepare analytical reports and management insights related to procurement controls and compliance.

Candidate Profile
- 12 to 16 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in industrial, engineering, automotive or manufacturing enterprises.
- Hands-on understanding of procurement/purchase processes and controls.
- Strong exposure to internal controls, audit, compliance and process governance.
- Good working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.
- Experience working with IT teams on process digitisation, automation or system implementation.
- Solid analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Preferred Industry Background Candidates from industrial / engineering / automotive / manufacturing / capital goods / heavy engineering enterprises will be strongly preferred.

Important: Candidates with experience primarily in services, consulting or advisory organisations, without substantial hands-on experience within an industrial/engineering/manufacturing enterprise, may not be suitable for this role.
