- Create 2D & 3D models of castings, tooling, and components using CAD software (e.g., UniGraphics NX/UG).
- Prepare and modify casting drawings in line with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Ensure designs comply with GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning &
- Tolerancing) and automotive/industrial standards.
- Validation &
- Optimization
Perform design validation, modifications, and improvements based on trial feedback.
- Support cost reduction initiatives by optimizing casting designs and tooling layouts. Collaborate with production teams to ensure manufacturability and efficiency.
- Quality &
- Compliance
Ensure designs meet customer specifications, safety, and quality standards.
- Work closely with QA teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Collaboration Coordinate with R&D;, manufacturing, and suppliers for smooth execution of projects.
- Provide technical support during prototype and production phases.
Required Skills &
- Competencies
- Robust knowledge of foundry processes (sand casting, die casting, investment casting). Proficiency in CAD tools (UG/NX, AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks).
- Understanding of metallurgy, material properties, and heat treatment processes.
- Familiarity with DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and cost optimization techniques.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

- Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgical Engineering.
- 0-5 years of experience in foundry design or related manufacturing industries.
- Experience in automotive or heavy engineering components preferred.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
