About the Role

We are looking for a warm, caring and responsible Day Care Teacher to create a secure, nurturing and engaging environment for young children beyond regular school hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure the safety, well-being and comfort of children in the day care.
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate constructive activities such as art and craft, storytelling, puzzles, music and movement, building blocks, pretend play, gardening and simple science activities.
- Keep children engaged through meaningful play and creative experiences.
- Support children with meals, rest time, hygiene and daily routines.
- Build warm and respectful relationships with children.
- Observe and respond to children's individual needs.
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming environment.




- Communicate effectively with parents and the school team regarding children's day care experience.
- Follow all school policies and child safeguarding practices.

- A nurturing, patient and responsible individual who genuinely enjoys working with young children.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage children calmly and positively.
- Ability to plan and conduct engaging constructive activities.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to learn.
- Prior experience in an early years/day care setting will be an advantage.
