We are looking for CA Freshers for an excellent chance to work as Credit Manager in Kotak Mahindra Bank at Surat location.

Selected candidate would be responsible for evaluating and managing the creditworthiness of potential business borrowers, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with company credit policies.

He/ She would analyze financial information, monitor loan performance, and manage collections, ultimately minimizing financial risk and maximizing profitability for the lending institution.

Role & responsibilities :

- Credit Assessment:

Reviewing loan applications, financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to assess a business's creditworthiness.
- Risk Analysis:

Identifying potential risks associated with lending to specific businesses, evaluating their ability to repay loans, and determining appropriate loan terms.
- Loan Approval:

Approving or rejecting loan applications based on creditworthiness and adherence to company policies.
- Credit Limit Determination:

Setting appropriate credit limits for approved loans, ensuring they align with the borrower's financial capacity and risk profile.
- Interest Rate Determination:

Determining interest rates for loans based on factors like credit risk, market conditions, and company policies.
- Loan Documentation:





Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all loan documentation, including loan agreements, security documents, and other relevant paperwork.
- Credit Monitoring:

Continuously monitoring the performance of existing loans, identifying early warning signs of potential defaults, and taking necessary actions to mitigate risks.
- Relationship Management:

Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, such as sales and relationship management teams, as well as external stakeholders, such as borrowers and industry professionals.
- Reporting:

Preparing reports on loan performance, risk exposure, and other relevant metrics for management and other stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

- CA 2023-2026 pass outs are welcome to apply
- Understanding of assessing audited financials, banking analysis and bureau reports knowhow is a plus
- Expertise in MS office and Loan application systems preferred.
- Should be competent in Sensing loan purpose, customer interaction, deliver in defined risk framework and uptime task completion etc.
- CA candidates from Banks/NBFC with BL underwriting background is a plus but not mandatory
- Should be based in Surat or from Gujarat and ready to relocate to Surat
