The Opportunity
BrightNight is seeking a highly analytical Corporate Finance Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in Pune.
This role sits at the intersection of financial modeling, strategic planning, project finance, and data-driven decision-making. You will maintain and enhance BrightNight’s corporate financial models—including liquidity and valuation models—and work closely with Corporate Finance, FP&A;, and project teams to translate project-level assumptions into a comprehensive view of the company’s financial outlook.
You’ll also have the opportunity to help improve how finance gets done at BrightNight by identifying ways to make our models, analyses, and workflows smarter through automation and AI-enabled solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain, enhance,
and help evolve corporate liquidity, valuation, and financial models.
- Consolidate project-level financial models into BrightNight’s corporate financial model.
- Keep key assumptions current across capital spending, project timing, liquidity, and cash flow forecasts.
- Perform financial and credit analysis of vendors and EPC contractors to assess financial strength and potential risk.
- Partner across Corporate Finance, FP&A;, and project teams to deliver actionable financial insights that support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial models and finance workflows through automation, AI, and other technology-enabled solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics , or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A;, financial modeling, valuation, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Power Pivot .
- Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights) is a plus.
- Exposure to Power Query, VBA, Python, automation tools, or AI-enabled productivity tools is advantageous.
