Job Summary

Hindustan Gold Industries is looking for Chemists and Senior Chemists to join its Quality Control and Laboratory team. The role involves chemical analysis and testing of precious metals, including gold and silver, along with laboratory operations, quality control, documentation, and process support.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of analytical chemistry, laboratory practices, and chemical analysis. Candidates with experience in precious metals, refining, metallurgy, or manufacturing will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform chemical analysis and testing of gold, silver, and other precious metal samples.
- Conduct testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products as per defined procedures.
- Carry out wet chemical analysis, sample preparation, and assay-related activities.
- Prepare and standardize reagents and chemical solutions required for laboratory testing.
- Operate and maintain analytical laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Maintain accurate test results, laboratory records, reports, and other quality documentation.
- Support calibration, verification, and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Coordinate with Production and Refinery teams for timely sample testing and reporting.
- Investigate abnormal test results and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory SOPs, quality standards, safety requirements, and NABL procedures.




- Support continuous improvement of laboratory methods and testing processes.
- Maintain proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and laboratory materials.
- For Senior Chemist level, independently handle critical analysis, troubleshooting, method-related activities, and guide junior team members.

Candidate Profile
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry.
- 0–5 years of relevant experience; freshers may apply for the Chemist position.
- Strong understanding of analytical chemistry and laboratory practices.
- Experience in precious metals, gold/silver analysis, refinery, metallurgy, chemical, or manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with analytical instruments such as AAS, ICP-OES, XRF, UV-Vis or similar instruments will be preferred.
- Knowledge of wet chemical analysis, assay, sample preparation, and reagent preparation.
- Robust analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
