Job Title: Equity Research & Portfolio Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a CFA-qualified professional to undertake in-depth equity research, financial analysis, and portfolio management for personal investments. This role involves identifying investment opportunities, monitoring market trends, and optimizing portfolio performance through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct fundamental research and analysis of listed companies.
- Analyse financial statements, financial ratios and business performance.
- Build and maintain financial models, including DCF and comparable-company valuation models.
- Conduct industry, sector and macroeconomic research.
- Track equity markets, corporate announcements and relevant economic developments.
- Identify investment opportunities based on fundamental research.
- Prepare detailed research reports, investment notes and stock recommendations.
- Develop investment strategies based on risk-return objectives.
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide periodic performance reviews.
- Assist in portfolio allocation, monitoring and rebalancing based on market conditions.
- Identify investment risks and opportunities.




- Apply appropriate risk-management and diversification principles.
- Use Excel and financial modelling extensively for analysis.
- Use AI tools to improve the efficiency and quality of equity research and analysis.

Mandatory Requirements

- CFA Qualified OR CFA Level II cleared.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment research, portfolio analysis, asset management, PMS, AIF, investment banking or related areas.
- Strong understanding of equity markets and fundamental analysis.
- Strong knowledge of valuation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with financial modelling.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to independently analyse companies and present investment recommendations.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in portfolio management or buy-side research.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Capital IQ or similar financial research platforms.
- Understanding of technical analysis.
- Solid report-writing and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of AI tools for research and financial analysis. Compensation:As per industry standards (based on experience and expertise)
