Role Description The Career Counselor will provide individualized guidance to candidates seeking opportunities in the tech and IT sectors. Counselor will collaborate with recruitment teams to align candidate profiles with available roles and maintain accurate documentation of counseling sessions and progress. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dallas, TX, requiring consistent in-person engagement with candidates and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management.
- Experience with Student Counseling or advising individuals transitioning into the tech and IT workforce.
- Robust Communication skills, including active listening, clear written communication, and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Knowledge of IT and technology career paths, job market trends, and common roles within the tech industry.
- Ability to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and work inclusively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple candidates, priorities, and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Resources, Education, or a related field; relevant certifications in career counseling are a plus.
- Prior experience in career services, recruitment, or talent development within tech or related industries is highly beneficial.
