We are looking for an experienced Buyer Supply Chain Operations professional to manage supplier coordination, procurement activities, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with forging and casting components, strong MIS/reporting skills, and be comfortable with frequent supplier visits.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day buying and supply chain activities for assigned suppliers/components.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability and delivery of materials.
- Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, shortages, and supplier commitments.
- Conduct frequent supplier visits for follow-up, issue resolution, and performance monitoring.
- Work closely with suppliers to address quality, delivery, capacity, and production-related issues.
- Track supplier performance and ensure adherence to agreed timelines.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and management reports related to procurement and supply chain performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Production, Quality, Engineering, Stores, and Planning.
- Support cost, delivery, inventory, and supplier-performance improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate procurement and supplier-related documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

- 47 years of relevant experience in Buying, Procurement, Supplier Management, or Supply Chain Operations.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on exposure to Forging & Casting components/processes.
- Positive working knowledge of MIS, Excel, reporting, and data analysis.




- Strong supplier coordination and negotiation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to supplier locations.
- Good communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and priorities independently.
- Experience in an automotive/manufacturing environment will be an advantage.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or a related field.
- Relevant industry experience will be considered.
