Job Purpose

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

You should handle the export documents and have a complete record of the conversation happening.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare, verify, and maintain export and import documentation.
2. Handle Pro-forma Invoices, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Purchase Orders, Shipping Bills, Bills of Lading/Air Waybills, Certificates of Origin, insurance documents, and other trade documents.
3. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, transporters, banks, and government authorities.
4. Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
5. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
6. Generate leads and follow up with potential customers.
7. Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
8. Communicate effectively with Hindi-speaking customers, suppliers,



and business associates.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in export/import, international trade, logistics, documentation, or business development preferred.
- Good knowledge of Export-Import procedures and documentation.
- Proficiency in Hindi speaking and communication is essential.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid knowledge of MS Office, Excel, email communication, and documentation.
- Good negotiation, follow-up, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of DGFT, IEC, customs, shipping, banking, and export compliance will be an advantage.
