Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day GP accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, allocations, and reconciliations.
Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of accounting records.
Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
Assist with GP entity accounting, expense allocations, capital activity, and partner-related transactions.
Prepare bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Support cash management, payment processing, and expense tracking activities.
Coordinate with internal teams, fund accounting teams, and external stakeholders.
Assist with audit requirements by preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor queries.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, controls,
and regulatory requirements.
Identify process improvements and support automation initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in GP accounting, corporate accounting, fund accounting, or financial services accounting.
Strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL), reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
Understanding of US GAAP/IFRS accounting principles.
Experience with month-end and quarter-end close processes.
Valuable analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and work in a quick-paced workplace.
