Role Overview

Coforge is seeking for aBusiness Analyst with strong Property Casualty (PC) Insurance domain expertise and advanced SQL skills to bridge business requirements and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, underwriting, claims, policy administration, and technical teams to analyze business needs, gather requirements, perform data analysis, and support strategic initiatives across the insurance value chain.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
- Conduct requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process walkthroughs.
- Translate business requirements into Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze end-to-end PC insurance processes including:
- Policy Administration
- Underwriting
- Claims Management
- Billing Collections
- Renewals and Endorsements
- Perform data analysis usingadvanced SQL queries to identify trends, validate business rules, reconcile data, and support decision-making.
- Prepare process flows, use cases, workflow diagrams, and gap analysis documents.
- Collaborate with development, QA,



data engineering, and business teams throughout the SDLC.
- Support UAT planning, test scenario creation, defect triage, and production validation.
- Create dashboards, reports, and KPI metrics to improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct impact analysis for system enhancements and regulatory changes.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business rules.

Required Skills

Property Casualty Domain Expertise

- Strong understanding of PC insurance operations.

- Understanding of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements.

Advanced SQL Skills (Mandatory)
