Job role
Review and validate drug prescriptions for safety, dosage accuracy, and therapeutic appropriateness
Monitor and report adverse drug reactions (ADR) and medication errors in coordination with clinicians
Provide pharmacological consultation to doctors on drug interactions, contraindications, and dose adjustments
Support antimicrobial stewardship and rational drug-use initiatives
Participate in clinical audits related to medication safety and outcomes
Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating drug protocols and formularies
Educate clinicians, nurses, and pharmacists on protected medication practices
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and regulatory guidelines
Analyze medication usage data and contribute to quality improvement activities
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to clinical research or case reviews where applicable

Experience: a Min of 2 years experience into handling Clinical Pharmacology is a must. 1 year trainee/intern period is not considered.
