We are seeking a skilled BIM Modular Engineer with experience in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) industry. The candidate will be responsible for developing detailed BIM models, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality design and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage BIM models for MEP systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design clashes.
Perform clash detection and model coordination using BIM tools.
Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
Generate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built models.
Maintain accurate project documentation and version control.
Assist in BIM execution planning and implementation of BIM standards.
Support project teams with technical expertise in BIM workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit (MEP).
Understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing).
Experience in BIM coordination and clash detection.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks or similar coordination software.
Knowledge of international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.).
Experience in modular construction or prefabrication projects.
Familiarity with LOD (Level of Development) standards.
