Overall management of Heat Treatment Department activities.
Supervise operation of:
Heat Furnace
Pit Furnace
Induction Hardening Machine
Shot / Sand Blasting Machine
Set and monitor heating cycles, temperature control, soaking time, quenching process, and tempering parameters.
Ensure required hardness, toughness, and wear resistance of chain components.
Manage furnace loading/unloading planning for maximum productivity.
Monitor induction hardening quality and uniformity.
Supervise blasting process for surface cleaning and finishing quality.
Reduce rejection due to cracking, distortion, decarburization, overheating, and uneven hardness.
Coordinate with Production / QC / Maintenance departments.
Ensure preventive maintenance of furnaces, induction systems, and blasting equipment.
Control department manpower, shift planning, and operator training.
Maintain heat treatment records, inspection reports, and traceability documents.
Implement safety standards for high-temperature and electrical equipment handling.
Drive process improvement for fuel efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
