Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Banquet Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of banquets, conferences, weddings, corporate events, and other functions. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, excellent guest experience, team performance, and achievement of revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and manage all banquet functions and events from initial booking through execution.

- Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements, menus, layouts, timelines, and special arrangements.

- Supervise banquet operations and ensure timely and high-quality service.

- Lead, train, and manage banquet staff, including waiters, captains, stewards, and support teams.

- Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Sales, Housekeeping, and other departments for seamless event execution.

- Ensure proper setup of banquet halls, tables, seating arrangements, décor, AV equipment, and other event requirements.

- Monitor food and beverage service quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.

- Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly.

- Prepare event schedules, staffing plans, and operational checklists.

- Monitor banquet inventory, equipment, consumables, and minimize wastage.

- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene,



health, and safety standards.

- Monitor event costs and support achievement of banquet revenue and profitability targets.

- Conduct post-event reviews and identify areas for operational improvement.

- Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in banquet operations, hospitality, hotels, clubs, resorts, or event management.

- Robust knowledge of banquet and event operations.

- Excellent leadership and team-management skills.

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Good communication and negotiation abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Knowledge of food & beverage service standards and banquet setup.

- Good understanding of cost control, inventory management, and revenue management.

- Professional appearance and strong client-handling skills.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education

- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
