Role Summary

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, API development, database design, and performance optimization. The candidate should be able to understand existing application architecture, work on backend services, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to system design and technical improvements. The role requires a candidate who can work independently, understand end-to-end application flows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth project execution.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Work on end-to-end API development, including analysis, development, testing, deployment support, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services with proper coding standards.
- Analyze existing application issues and provide corrective and optimization solutions.
- Work closely with databases for query writing, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
- Understand application architecture, system flows, and integration points.
- Support production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
- Maintain existing backend processing mechanisms, monitoring processes, and technical documents.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders for requirement understanding and delivery.
- Contribute to system design discussions and support future technology enhancements, including AI-focused initiatives.
- Ensure application development follows security, audit, regulatory, and industry standards.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong experience in Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
- Good hands-on experience in REST API development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL.
- Valuable understanding of database design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA.




- Understanding of microservices architecture and backend service design.
- Knowledge of API authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Experience using code repositories such as GitLab/GitHub.
- Good understanding of application troubleshooting, debugging, and log analysis.
- Basic understanding of cloud services, preferably AWS, will be an added advantage.

System Design and Architecture Expectations

- Ability to understand existing system architecture and backend application flows.
- Positive understanding of scalable, maintainable, and secure application design.
- Ability to participate in solution design and technical discussions.
- Understanding of integration patterns, API communication, and data flow between systems.
- Awareness of performance, reliability, and maintainability aspects in backend systems.
- Exposure to AI-driven or data-oriented systems will be an added advantage.

Good to Have Skills

- Knowledge of payment gateway or transaction processing systems.
- Understanding of TCP, HTTP, and related communication protocols.
- Understanding of blocking and non-blocking I/O.
- Experience with monitoring tools and production support processes.
- Exposure to AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, Lambda, or CloudWatch.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML system integration or AI-enabled application development.

Qualification Criteria

- BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science, IT, or related field from a reputed institute.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Good documentation skills using MS Excel, PowerPoint, or similar tools.
- Should be proactive, ownership-driven, and able to work under project timelines.

Relevant Years of Experience - 3 to 5 Years Notice Period - Immediate Joiners Preferred or Maximum within 1 month

Working Days - 5 days working from Office (Pure Dayshift with Saturday Sunday Fixed Off )
