The Machine Operator is responsible for operating forging machines safely and efficiently to achieve production with minimum 1 yr experience targets while maintaining quality standards and following safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forging press / hammer / upsetter / power press as per production plan
Perform machine start-up and shutdown procedures
Load and unload raw materials into machines
Monitor machine performance during production cycle
Maintain required production quantity as per shift target
Inspect forged components for visible defects
Report machine abnormalities immediately to supervisor
Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) during production
Maintain workplace cleanliness as per 5S standards
Ensure proper use of PPE and safety compliance
Support die changeover activities when required
Record production data in shift production sheet
Skills Required
