We are looking for an experienced and responsible Assistant Store Manager to manage day-to-day store operations, material inward and outward movements, inventory coordination, dispatch planning, transportation, logistics documentation, and transporter coordination. The role will ensure smooth and timely movement of materials while maintaining accurate inventory and logistics records.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Store & Inventory Management

Manage day-to-day store operations, including inward and outward material movements.

Ensure proper receipt, verification, storage, and dispatch of materials.

Manage inventory and storage space efficiently.

Maintain accurate stock and material movement records.

Coordinate with Production, Sales, Accounts, and other departments for smooth material flow.

Transportation & Logistics

Coordinate daily transportation and logistics requirements.

Plan and arrange vehicles according to dispatch schedules and delivery requirements.

Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement, freight rates, and timely movement.

Track shipments and follow up with transporters for timely deliveries.

Monitor vehicle placement, dispatch, and delivery status.

Escalate vehicle-related issues and delivery delays to the Reporting Manager.

Logistics Documentation

Prepare and maintain Delivery Challans, Invoices, E-Way Bills, LR/Consignment Notes, and other logistics documents.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of dispatch and transportation documentation.

Follow up for PODs and maintain proper delivery records.

Maintain transporter, vehicle, shipment, and delivery records.

Transporter & Freight Management





Coordinate with transporters for regular vehicle placement and shipment movement.

Verify transporter bills and coordinate with Accounts for payment processing.

Monitor freight costs and support logistics cost-control initiatives.

Track transporter performance and address recurring transportation issues.

MIS & Reporting

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly logistics MIS reports.

Maintain accurate records of dispatches, deliveries, PODs, freight costs, and transporter performance.

Provide timely updates to the Reporting Manager regarding dispatch and delivery status.

Coordination & Compliance

Coordinate with Stores, Production, Sales, Accounts, and other departments for smooth dispatch operations.

Ensure compliance with company SOPs, documentation requirements, and safety guidelines.

Identify operational issues and take timely corrective action.

Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all logistics activities.

Education & Experience

Education: Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.

Experience: 4–6 years of relevant experience in Stores, Dispatch, Logistics, or Transportation Operations.

Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment will be preferred.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
