Role & responsibilities

1. Customer Service & Complaint Handling

- Handle customer complaints related to gear motors, gearboxes and power-transmission equipment.
- Provide timely technical support and ensure complaints are closed within agreed TAT.
- Maintain positive customer relationships and provide regular service updates.

1. Breakdown & Troubleshooting

- Visit customer sites for breakdowns, inspections and troubleshooting.
- Identify causes of gear tooth failure, bearing damage, overheating, vibration, noise, oil leakage, seal failure and shaft damage.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions.

1. Installation & Commissioning

- Supervise installation and commissioning of gearboxes and geared motors.
- Ensure proper alignment, mounting, coupling,



lubrication and operating conditions.
- Verify performance after commissioning.

1. Root Cause Analysis

- Conduct RCA and failure analysis for major and recurring failures.
- Prepare technical reports with findings and recommended corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Design, Quality and Production teams for permanent solutions.

Preferred candidate profile Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics or related discipline.

Experience: 612 years in industrial gearbox, geared-motor, power-transmission or mechanical equipment service.
